Back in Vancouver

After almost 18,000 km through the Northwestern fringes of North America, and two sets of tires I finally made it back to Vancouver. It was a trip of a lifetime with plenty of car problems but fantastic experiences throughout. For the moment though I am happy to have friends that give me shelter with the increasingly adverse weather conditions in October. It is not just a lot of fun when one wakes up in the morning and little ice crystals blink at you from the inside of your tent. If you then think of getting out into the cold and prepare breakfast day after day.. oh my! I am still amazed how our forefathers and explores accomplished that. It is for sure a very impressive achievement. Nevertheless, the natural beauty I have seen, the people I met and the wildlife I have seen, compensates for all of my “struggles” wit the cold, car or tires. Where do I go from here?  I definitely will keep the blog alive since I gathered a lot of information that I still want to bring up in future blogs – so stay tuned.

    Hi Jan,
I enjoyed reading your blog! Well done!
I travel a lot and through the years I gathered a lot of insight into other cultures. I am thinking about starting my own blog and sharing some of the adventures I had. Could you tell me what website host are you using? I like the layout and the format. It’s easy to navigate and encourages following you on other social media websites. I like it a lot.
    Thank you!
    Anna

Hi Anna, Thank you for your praise! I have to admit I am no expert on the website design etc. I payed a friend of me to set it up and it is also running on his server. I also liked how he integrated instagram, twitter, facebook and my website. All of it is a little black magic to me, and the instagram part seem to have broken lately. However, if you want I can bring you both in contact. Let me know! Cheers, Jan
